Problem Statement

We would like to create a brand of products made from organic and sustainable farming that shuns all chemicals and ecologically damaging ingredients and practices from soil to shelf.

Summary

We need to create a brand of products made from organic and sustainable farming and shuns ecologically damaging ingredients

Description

Given a choice, everyone would prefer to drape themselves in natural fiber clothes dyed in vegetable or organic dyes that are skin friendly and least environment altering. But there always seems to be a shortage of such brands and products.
In corporate structures governed by quarterly bottom lines, low input cost and high-end marketing, the benefits to the end consumer ironically are overlooked. We would like to create a brand of products made from organic and sustainable farming and shuns all chemicals and ecologically damaging ingredients and practices the principle "from soil to shelf".
The long-term value for users of these products will far outweigh any immediate costs. Such branding and product profile will create a loyal customer base even if it is slow to penetrate markets initially. We can start small and grow as the customer base expands.
We could also connect the willing end consumers to the producers in an eco tourism effort .This will help boost brand value amongst consumers.

Initially, we will have to offer purchase guarantees and sufficient monitory incentives to get an organic farmer base that will form the first stage in production line. We will also need staff with initial expertise in organic dyes and processes.

Challenges Foreseen

1. Acquiring an initial organic producer base. 2. Expertise in organic dyes and processes. 3. High Initial costs 4. Sourcing reliable organic raw materials
